The last hoorah for VBS 2019! Little kids singing🎼, big kids enjoying😄 , followed by ice cream 🍦and root beer float party, with a water 💦 slide awaiting! Then, sadly, the take down☹️ But no taking down of our sign with the names of those who chose Jesus! 45!!🎉 Thank you, volunteers 🤗! You did a fabulous job and we are so grateful 🥰💕

6th Sunday after Pentecost Our passages for Sunday: Amos 8:1-12 Psalm 52 Colossians 1:15-28 Luke 10:38-42 Be like Mary and come sit at His feet. Who is He? Christ Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; for in him all things in heaven and on earth were created, things visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or powers-- all things have been created through him and for him. He himself is before all things, and in him all things hold together. He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might come to have first place in everything. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him God was pleased to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, by making peace through the blood of his cross

The celebration continues🎉The kids are so cute!!!! One more Guatemala donation followed by a hot dog lunch 🌭for all! Yum!! Indoor and outdoor games after lunch, a bounce house and slide, complete with cotton candy and more popcorn 🍿 A fun afternoon for all! One more post to come...

Registration cuties on day 5! Tie-dyed shirts were the order of the day! Starting the day with song, Fr. Paul chooses Jesus and we find Dusty Chaps🎉 Singing Happy Birthday to Ms. JoAnne 🎂🎁and groups who chose Jesus today🎉👏 Prayer candles in the House of Prayer, face painting during snacks and on to celebration presentation in our beautiful sanctuary. Day 4, as every day, begins with a prayer circle for the workers. Then they come and the opening has singing, friends, movie (we still haven’t found Dusty...maybe tomorrow!) and poor Fr. Paul learning the pitfalls of disobedience (maybe today’s snack will help him feel better!). Then, off to class and the House of Prayer and prayer wall. Snack, story time, games, music...so much fun to have! The day ends with volunteers huddling for pulling off the finale tomorrow 🎉🎉 Come one, come all! Hot dog lunch, water slides, bounce house await!! #iwillobeyyourcommands

A sad farewell to Jennifer Velez from the staff and church family! For four years she lovingly cleaned our buildings and sang to the LORD as she did so. It was always wonderful to walk in and hear her singing praises 🎹🎼 We will miss her loving and gentle spirit and we wish her God speed and every blessing in her new ministry! 💕Love to you from all of us, Jennifer❤️🤗
